Portrait Collection

This part of collection contains four series:
  • General Portrait Collection with about 1.200 portraits
  • Habsburger Poetry Collection with about 1.500 portraits
  • Actors Portrait Collection with about 750 portraits
  • Portrait Collection of non-Styrian personages
A speciality is marked by the account books of the Graz photographer Leopold Bude. They contain over 28.000 small-formatted portraits of those people he photographed from 1865 onwards. This holding is integrated in the series of special archives and is fully detectable via the ADB of the Styrian Provincial Archives.

The portrait collections have been made available through a repertory and through the ADB of the Styrian Provincial Archives. The production and use of reproductions is subject to the reproduction guidelines of the Styrian Provincial Archives.
